Jon R. Alworth graduated from the University of Texas School of Law, one of the top ten law schools in the country, in 1984. As a young lawyer, Jon was involved in politics, serving as Finance Director for Bill Clements 1986 gubernatorial campaign, and then serving as Assistant General counsel to the Governor. In 1987, Jon joined the state’s largest worker’s compensation firm, gaining extensive, valuable trial experience. Since 1989 Jon has been the lead attorney in successive firms, relocating to the Houston area in 2008. Jon has enjoyed 24 years of marriage to his wife Rebecca (she may answer your call), and they have a son Damon, and custody of their niece Lily. In 2018 Jon was ordained as a Pastor, and is co-founder and now lead Pastor, for “Break Every Chain Ministries, founded in 2015. You can catch on at 5:30 Wednesdays on 100.7, “The Word” with his program, “Recovery through Christ”. Jon is also a Pastor at the Open Door Mission and serves on the Bd. of Directors.
